Welcome to the ClubSport Stirling Website
We’re a voluntary organisation working with local sports clubs to:
- give clubs expert advice
- develop coaches and volunteers help clubs to grow and develop
- get access to funding
- represent their interests with organisations including Stirling Council and national governing bodies of sport.
We represent all sports clubs – adult, youth, recreational and competitive. Some of the clubs and sports we’re already involved in, indoors and outdoors, include football, rugby, cricket, hockey and sailing. Our annual Sports Awards evening took place on Wednesday 25th November 2009. The event was a roaring success and very well supported by the Stirling Community. Our guest speaker Dame Kelly Holmes was outstanding and spent a lot of time with our guests. Live music was provided by Dougie McLean, which was enjoyed by all.
The standard of nominees this year was outstanding and made the job of the panel very difficult indeed. All nominees were worthy of an award.
