About ClubSport Stirling

We changed our name from Stirling Sports Council to ClubSport Stirling in 2007.

We're staffed by volunteers who are supported by a team of vibrant, enthusiastic and innovative Sports Development Officers from Active Stirling.

Our work is guided by a service agreement we’ve signed with Active Stirling. Each year they give us funding, which we can spend on making local clubs stronger and more secure for the future.

How we manage our organisation

We're managed by a committee. Our members are elected for a two-year term to:

• manage all aspects of our work including our finances and administration
• participate in cluster meetings for our affiliated clubs so they meet one another and share information.

All our members are members of local affiliated clubs that provide voluntary help locally.

We have three working groups that provide support to clubs and sports coaches.
