Charter Club AccreditationClubSport Stirling has developed the Charter Club scheme as a means of identifying clubs which operate in a structured way, as well as providing a suitable 'baseline' from which they can develop.
This Information PackThis Information pack is in two sections. Section 1 will give you details of the 'Charter Club' identifying: SECTION 1The Charter ClubThe Aim of the Charter Club is to: 'Encourage the establishment and operation of structured, safe sports clubs, with the potential to develop and expand accordingly.' The scheme forms part of the work being undertaken by ClubSport Stirling's Club Development Working Group. They are proposing to further encourage the development of local clubs. This pack, once completed to the satisfaction of the Club Development Working Group will grant the Charter Club status. The BenefitsWhat are the benefits your club will get from becoming a 'Charter Club'?We are hoping that the main incentive to becoming a Charter Club is that your club wishes to be recognised as a structured club. This will reassure your members and yourself that you are operating in an appropriate manner. Other than the reassurance, you will gain the following benefits:
The ProcessStage 1Club returns completed forms within this pack ensuring that all evidence is enclosed. The Checklist at the back of this pack will assist in what information is required to be submitted. Stage 2Club receives acknowledgement of submission and date of the next Club Development Working Group meeting. Stage 3Club Development Working Group will consider your submission and award Charter Club status accordingly. If successful your club will be issued their Charter Club Folder, containing your submitted documentation and the Charter Club logo. Stage 4The Charter Club folder will be kept and maintained by your club and will be reviewed by ClubSport Stirling biannually. Section 2Section 2 is in a downloadable .pdf format.
