ClubSport Stirling - Who We Are

ClubSport Stirling aim is to enhance and develop the investment and support to local clubs, coaches and volunteers in line with the clubs’ ambitions and goals .

Stirling Sports Council was established in 1976 and has recently rebranded to become ClubSport Stirling. It has developed greatly over the years with many local sports people contributing to Stirling Sports Council’s evolution and creating the reputation of being proactive in club sport development.
There have been many turning points within the Sports Council’s history with the coming and going of prominent volunteers and re-organisation of local authorities. The most radical of changes was in 1999 when the Sports Council agreed to take on a ‘Service Level Agreement’ with Stirling Council. We are now in our third 3 year ‘Service Level Agreement’, which was transferred to Active Stirling when it was founded in 2006.

The volunteers of ClubSport Stirling are supported by the team of vibrant, innovative Sports Development Officers from Active Stirling. Together they will ensure local clubs receive the necessary direction and guidance to become stronger and more sustainable.

ClubSport Stirling looks forward to working with your club to achieve Active Stirling’s aim of
“more people, more active, more often”
